News of Bishop Ildo Fortes’ mission to the Czech Republic has reached the Vatican. The respected bishop from Mindelo on the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde, visited Archbishop Mons. Jan Grabuner, celebrated Mass together in the Church of St Thomas in Prague Michle, stopped at Svatá Hora near the city of Příbram, visited schools, was a guest on the Christian TV channel NOE and met friends.
In Prague, the charismatic Bishop Fortes signed cooperation agreements with the Hope Cape Verde Foundation and the Czech-Cape Verde Chamber of Commerce, which will include the construction of a new school in Cape Verde.
