The Czech-Cape Verde Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the magazine STATUSS, held a presentation of a special issue of the magazine dedicated to the cooperation between Cape Verde and the Czech Republic at the Ambassador Hotel.
The founder and president of the Czech-Cape Verde Chamber of Commerce, Ms Mónica Sofia Duarte, and the publisher and editor-in-chief of the lifestyle magazine STATUSS, Ms Viktoria Sion, spoke at the gala evening to present their activities and highlight the importance and benefits of projects implemented in Cape Verde with the participation of Czech companies and their foreign partners. This cooperation benefits not only Czech and foreign investors, but above all the Cape Verdean people themselves. Throughout the evening of this prestigious social event, we were accompanied by the popular presenter Mr. Alexander Hemala, who was a guarantee of great comfort and friendly spirit.
Among the guests were friends, clients, investors and partners not only of the Czech-Cape Verde Chamber of Commerce, but also of the Cape Verde Real Estate Development Company and the Cape Verde Hope Foundation. The special edition was christened by its godfathers René Sion, CEO of Dallmayr, and Michal Nohejl, Czech businessman and major investor in Cape Verde.
The launching ceremony was not only an opportunity to learn about current events in Cape Verde and ongoing projects, but also a networking opportunity for those present, who are united by common themes such as commercial or charity projects and culture in the Cape Verde Islands. As well as English, Portuguese, German, Russian, Slovakian, Italian and Ukrainian were spoken and understood. We also had friends from Georgia and the USA. The atmosphere was fantastic, new friendships were made and the guests were full of praise.
We are very grateful to the guests and performers, as well as to the Ambassador Hotel, and we are looking forward to the next festive event, for which the President of the Chamber, Mónica Sofie, is preparing a big surprise, and we can all look forward to it now.
